Dorney Lake Services employ strict parking regulations, and have very good reasons for this. Please follow the guidance below to assist all parties.

Trailer Vehicles

Most of you will have visited the site before. Depending upon weather, Dorney may instruct us to occupy varied parking areas. We will be using the Trailer Park on the North side.

If using the conventional park, towing vehicles may stay attached to the trailers. Enter the trailer park from either end. It is best to send a ‘spotter’ to advise as best. The vehicle should park with front bumper up against the centre line of the area, leaving the trailer to be unloaded from the ends. Please leave sufficient room ( not too much ) for your neighbour to unload its side racks. Boats may be rigged BEHIND the trailer, not to the side, and it is advised that once rigged, they be carried onto the grass area for the duration of the competition. Please bring plenty of trestles.

It is especially important that you follow these instructions if you are dropping off trailers Saturday evening, BUT you must not park minibuses randomly in the park on Sunday if you take them away Saturday. Please either attach them to the trailers or park in the overflow park with cars. As below, clamping will operate for all vehicles inappropriately parked. This sounds heavy, but inconsiderate parking has caused chaos in the past.

Cars

There is a £10 entry fee for cars and non-trailer vehicles. Minibuses with competitors will not be charged.

We are now card only (no cash)

Please inform your parents and supporters in advance that this charge will apply.

General Requests

The Ball Cup is charged a fee for the disposal of litter, even more if litter has to be picked up. Your entry fees will be affected by such charges. Please, coaches, instruct your juniors to not only take their own litter to the nearest bin, but to help clear the whole area at the end of the day. There are Black bags available at control.

The Boathouse upper stories are available for canteen and showers. No admission to The Eton Boathouse. Please instruct pupils that any persons found abusing the premises will result in a permanent future club ban, and a British Rowing report under the general abuse rule. Please use the portaloo conveniences, when possible. Dorney lock the downstairs loos, which will be opened for disabled persons; key at control.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in all the above areas.
